ASHEVILLE, N.C. - North Carolina Central won five singles matches en route to a 5-2 women's tennis victory over homestanding UNC Asheville Saturday afternoon at the Asheville Racquet Club.

 

The Bulldogs were able to win the doubles point to take a 1-0 lead as Asheville got wins from its #1 flight of Zoe Hamel and Erickia Rivero and #3 team of Gillian Lewis and Amryn Soldier.

 

But the Eagles dominated singles as they won five matches in straight sets. Soldier was the lone Bulldog to win in singles at #4 flight.
