Women's Tennis Defeats Lees-McRae 7-0

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team dominated Lees-McRae from start to finish as the Bulldogs defeated the Bobcats, 7-0.

In singles action, Stephanie Schon, Zoe Hamel, Devon Cavanaugh and Jackie McGuirk won in straight sets and did not lose a game in their matches. In doubles action, the Bulldogs three teams combined to win all three matches and only lost one game in the process. Schon remained perfect on the season in singles action at 8-0.

The Bulldogs (5-3) won for the fifth time in the last six matches. Asheville plays next at Charlotte Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m.
