NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis finished up their fall season at the June Stewart Invitational at Vanderbilt University this past weekend.

The Bulldogs played in both singles and doubles matches over the weekend and had some solid results.

The doubles team of Zoe Hamel and Amryn Solider won both of their matches. Hamel won her opening singles match before falling in the next two matches.

Freshman Christine Boissevain won two singles matches and lost the third in three sets. Freshman Jenna Dodge won her first singles matches and then dropped the next two.

"We faced some top-flight competition this weekend and had some good results for a team as young as we are," stated Bulldog coach Lise Gregory. "All in all, it was a good wrap up to the fall season. We made progress and now it's on to the spring season.
