ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Devon Cavanaugh and Stephanie Schon reached the finals of the Women's Singles Grand Flight on Saturday in the second day of UNC Asheville Open held at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center.

Cavanaugh defeated Erika Pinate of Mars Hill 6-4, 6-0 in the quarterfinals and the breezed past Emilia Milovanovic of Wofford in the semifinals 6-2, 6-0.

Schon won her quarterfinal match over Haley Baird of Wofford, 6-2, 6-0. She advanced to the finals with a win over Guinn Garcia of Wofford, 6-1, 6-0.

The doubles of the tournament will be played on Sunday.
