UNC Asheville Women's Tennis Hosts ETSU on Saturday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis will be back in action at home this Saturday afternoon when the Bulldogs host Atlantic Sun Champion East Tennessee State at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center starting at 1 p.m.

The Bulldogs are 12-6 on the season and have posted wins in 10 of their last 12 matches. Asheville won at Appalachian State on Tuesday, 4-3. The Lady Buccaneers are enjoying another great season and will bring an 18-4 worksheet into Saturday's match.

The Bulldogs have had great success throughout the year with a balanced attack from their singles and doubles teams. Britney Cloer tops Asheville in singles action with an 11-04 record, while Nicole Schon is 10-6 on the year. Senior Louise Bottomley is 9-3 in dual action. Devon Cavanaugh and Bottomley have teamed up to go 12-5 in doubles action. Leslie Smith and Stephanie Schon are 14-4 at #1 doubles.
