Women's Tennis Slips Past Appalachian State, 4-3

BOONE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis picked up the doubles point and earned victories in three singles matches as the Bulldogs edged Appalachian State, 4-3 Tuesday afternoon.

Asheville earned doubles wins at #1 and #2 to get the doubles points. Devon Cavanaough and Lousie Bottomley edged Laura Janke-Gislea Fernandez, 9-8. Britney Cloer, Bottomley and Cavanaugh all won at singles.

UNC Asheville plays again on Saturday when it hosts ETSU at 1 p.m.
