Bottomley Named to Big South All-Academic Team

RADFORD, VA. - UNC Asheville senior women's tennis player Louise Bottomley was named to the Big South All-Academic team on Wednesday night at the league's awards banquet held on the eve of the start of the 2010 Tournament.

Bottomley is a Health & Wellness major with a 3.79 GPA. She enjoyed an excellent season on the court at #6 singles with a 12-4 record.

The Bulldogs begin play in the tournament on Thursday against Radford starting at 9 a.m. Asheville will be the #4 seed and have a 14-7 overall record.
