Women's Tennis Posts Impressive Results at UNC Asheville Open

Men's and Women's Tennis Teams Hosts Winston-Salem State on Wednesday

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's and women's tennis teams are back in action Wednesday afternoon when both teams host Winston-Salem State at the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center starting at 2 p.m.

The Bulldog men's team will look to stop a frustrating four-game losing streak. Asheville fell at Big South foe Liberty, 4-3 on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs have a 3-9 record on the season.

The women's team hopes to keep their winning ways going. Asheville has three straight wins and won eight of its last nine matches. Asheville is 10-5 on the year. Leslie Smith was named Big South Player of the Week today after helping lead the Bulldogs to three Big South Conference wins last week.
