Women's Tennis Finishes Up Fall at Wofford Invitational

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team finished up its fall schedule at the Wofford Invitational this past weekend.
Highlighting the results was the play of Nicole Schon both in singles and doubles. She won two singles matches and two doubles matches. The doubles team of Devon Cavanaugh and Zoe Hamel won all three of their matches. Nicole Schon teamed up Jackie McGuirk to win two of their three doubles matches.
"We did OK at Wofford," commented Bulldog coach Lise Gregory. "It's a good time to get some rest and then begin preparations for the spring season. This teams works very hard and showed some real improvement across the board in the fall."
