Women's Tennis to Face Coastal Carolina in Big South Championships

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The fifth-seeded UNC Asheville women's tennis
team will face #4 Coastal Carolina at the Big South Women's Tennis
Championships Thursday morning at Winthrop University.
The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 12-8 overall record and a 3-4 record in the Big South. CCU enters the match with a 14-5 overall record and a 4-3 conference record.
On March 7, the Chanticleers defeated Asheville by the score of 6-1. The Bulldogs' lone point came from Stephanie Schon as she prevailed over Tina Petkova 4-6, 6-4, 7-6.
Thursday's match is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. at the Winthrop Memorial Courts.
