Women's Tennis Has Solid Results at UNC Asheville Fall Tournament

Women's Tennis Defeats Presbyterian, 5-2

CLINTON, S.C. - The UNC Asheville women's tennis team recorded a 5-2 win over Presbyertian Tuesday at the Templeton Courts.

The Bulldogs swept the doubles portion of the competition to earn the doubles point.

In singles, Leslie Smith, Stephanie Schon, Devon Cavanaugh and Nicole Schon all posted victories.

Asheville improves its record to 8-6 overall and 2-3 in the Big South, while Presbyterian moves to 2-11 and 0-4 in the conference.

The Bulldogs play next on Friday as they take on Winthrop in Rock Hill, S.C. at 2:30 p.m.
