No. 47 Radford Defeats UNC Asheville, 6-1

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - No. 47 Radford defeated the UNC Asheville men's tennis team 6-1 Sunday at the Asheville School.

The Highlanders swept the doubles competition to earn the doubles point.

In singles play, Joe May earned the Bulldogs' lone point of the match as he defeated Zack Watson, 5-7, 6-4, 0-1.

Asheville falls to 3-12 overall and 0-3 in the Big South. Radford improves its record to 11-2 overall and 3-0 in the conference.

The Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday as they will take on Presbyterian in Clinton, S.C. at 2 p.m.
