Bulldogs Drop Match 4-3 to Liberty

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - The UNC Asheville men's tennis team lost a close 4-3 match to Liberty Saturday at the Asheville School.
The Flames earned the doubles point by sweeping the doubles competition.
Asheville
fell just short of claiming the overall match victory by winning three
singles matchs. Mauricio Correa defeated Clay Cypert 6-2, 6-2 in the
No. 1 singles match. At No. 2, Nicolai Nonnenbroich beat Louis Styen,
6-1, 6-3. Joe May earned a 6-0, 6-4 victory over Juan Reyes at the No.
5 spot.
Asheville moves to 3-11 overall and 0-2 in the Big
South, while Liberty improves its record to 11-5 overall and 1-1 in the
Big South.
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back Sunday as they take on conference foe Radford at the Asheville School at 1 p.m.
