Women's Tennis Falls in Opener to Furman, 7-0

Saturday's Women's Tennis Matches Canceled and Postponed; Sunday's Match Moved to Crowne Plaza

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Saturday's women's tennis match between UNC Asheville and Catawba has been canceled due to weather concerns.  In addition, the scheduled match between the Bulldogs and Winston-Salem State has been postponed until Tuesday, March 3 at 2 p.m.

The forecast for the North Carolina's Piedmont region calls for steady thunderstorms and temperatures in the low 40's, which would make outdoor surfaces unplayable.

Sunday's home match against Lees-McRae has been moved from the Asheville School to the Crowne Plaza Tennis Center at 5 p.m. due to possible snow showers and cold temperatures the Asheville area.

Admission to all UNC Asheville home tennis events is free.
