Women's Tennis to Host Charleston Southern in Big South Opener

ASHEVILLE, N.C. ? The UNC Asheville women's tennis team opens its Big South Conference schedule on Saturday as it faces Charleston Southern at the Asheville Racquet Club at 5:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs (4-1) have won four consecutive matches. Last week, the Bulldogs posted 6-1 victories against North Carolina A&T (Feb. 10) and Western Carolina (Feb. 12). Sisters Nicole and Stephanie Schon have both registered 4-1 records in singles play this season.

The Buccaneers (1-1) play East Tennessee State today in Johnson City, Tenn. Charleston Southern fell 6-1 to USC Upstate in its last match (Feb. 13).

Results from Saturday's match will be posted on www.uncabulldogs.com following its conclusion.
