Women's Tennis Drops 6-1 Decision to High Point

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - High Point won five singles matches and the doubles point as the Panthers downed UNC Asheville, 6-1 in Big South Conference women's college tennis action Tuesday afternoon.

Sophomore Louise Bottomley was a bright spot for Asheville. She teamed up with Nicole Schon to win a doubles matches and then rallied to win her singles match in three sets.

The Bulldogs finish up the regular season this weekend in Virginia with two league matches. Asheville plays at Liberty on Saturday, starting at 1 p.m. and then battles Radford the next day, also starting at 1 p.m.
