Women's Tennis Falls to Second-Seeded Liberty

Rock Hill, S.C. ? The second seeded Liberty Flames downed No. 7 seed UNC Asheville, 4-0 in the second match of the day of the first round of the 2008 Big South Women's Tennis Championship.
Liberty started off the day strong winning the doubles point, with Jordan Jenkins and Ekaterina Kuznetsova taking the No. 1 doubles against Leslie Smith and Stephanie Schon. Lady Flames, Stephanie Brown and Hannah Fick earned the win at No. 2, 8-3.
In singles play, player of the year, Jordan Jenkins easily secured the win at No. 1 against UNC Asheville's Leslie Smith, 6-0, 6-1, while Lady Flame, Martyna Hanusz defeated Louise Bottomley, 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 2 Singles. Closing out the match, Brown blanked Tania Mateva, 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 5 singles.
