Women's Tennis Falls at UNC Wilmington, 6-1

WILMINGTON N.C. ? The UNC Wilmington women's tennis team was able to win the doubles point and then take five singles matches to post a 6-1 win over visiting UNC Asheville Monday morning at the Seahawk Tennis Complex.

The Bulldogs (3-3) got a victory in singles from freshman Nicole Schon for their point. She won a three-set victory over Chelsea Kahle of Wilmington, 6-2, 5-7, 10-7. Whitney Abbott battled hard before falling in three sets.

UNC Asheville plays again on Wednesday (March) afternoon when the Bulldogs travel to East Carolina at noon.
