Women's Tennis' Leslie Smith Named Big South Player of Week

UNC Asheville Women's Tennis Team Hosts Kennesaw State Saturday at ARC

ASHEVILLE, N.C. ? The UNC Asheville Women's Tennis team will attempt to stay unbeaten on the season when the Bulldogs host Kennesaw State at the Asheville Racquet Club Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. There is no admission charge.

 

First-year coach Lise Gregory's club has opened the season with impressive 7-0 victories over North Carolina A&T and Lees-McRae.

 

Kennesaw State is 1-2 on the season and won its first match of the year last weekend as the Owls blanked Savannah State, 5-0.

 

The Bulldogs have been dominant in singles action as no Asheville player has yet to lose a set this season.
