Women's Tennis Opens With 7-0 Win over North Carolina A&T

ASHEVILLE, N.C. ? UNC Asheville won six singles matches and the doubles point as the Bulldogs made their 2008 debut a successful one with a 7-0 victory over North Carolina A&T in women's college tennis action Saturday night at the Asheville Racquet Club.
Head Coach Lise Gregory was pleased with her team's performance in the first match.
“I am pleased with the way the ladies performed,” stated Gregory. “There were some first-match jitters but for the most part they handled the nerves well. We have a few things that need to be worked on this week in practice to keep improving.”
