A 2016 graduate of UNC Asheville, Zak Davis was brought in as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's soccer teams. 

Davis suited up as a goalie for the Bulldogs from 2012-2016, recording 120 saves during his Bulldog career. During his time on the men's soccer team he was two-year captain, and finished in the top four of the country in saves per game and total saves his senior year. Davis also served as a member of SAAC, showing support for his fellow athletes. He attended the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis.
