Overview: Talented hitter who made an impact right away leading the team in each of his first two seasons.

2007: Set school career hit record breaking Eddie Woods’ all-time mark of 217 against UNC Greensboro in regular-season finale...hit home runs in back-to-back games at Charleston Southern April 7-8...25-for-75 (.333) during the month of April...career .325 hitter...enters the season five doubles shy of Brian Shehan’s career record of 52 from 1987-1990...18 multi-hit games and 12 multi-RBI games...nine-game hitting streak from April 21-May 2...went 3-for-5 with two RBI at Florida State on Feb. 10...3-for-3 with three RBI at Furman on April 18...3-for-5 against High Point on Aprill 22... second on the team with 41 RBI and third on the team with 13 doubles.

2006: Broke UNC Asheville single season records for hits (87) and at bats (249)...finished three doubles (23) shy of Ty Wigginton’s single-season doubles record...349 average and 46 RBI led the team...second in the Big South in doubles with 23...Big South All-Tournament Team outfielder after going 3-for-6 with six runs batted in during championship game...one of two Bulldogs to start every game...26 mulit-hit games including three four-hit games at Furman (Feb. 15), Texas Tech (March 9), and Birmingham-Southern (March 25)...second on the team in home runs with seven, two multi-home run games against North Carolina A&T (March 14) where he had five RBI and at Coastal Carolina (May 19)...finshed season with a 12-game hitting streak...3-for-7 with a RBI in NCAA Regional.

2005: Led the Bulldogs in batting with a .354 average while starting 50 of 51 games as a freshman...had 22 multiple hit games including a 4-for-5 game in a victory over Tennessee...hit .326 against Big South opponents and batted 11-for-25 (.444) in nine games against SEC teams...placed second on the team with 12 doubles and 27 RBI in his first season...had eight multiple RBI games including three while going 3-for-3 and scoring two runs in series finale at VMI.

Before UNC Asheville: Played for coach Hal Bagwell at South Mecklenburg...as a senior hit .346 with 26 RBI...did not make an error his entire senior year...led conference as a sophomore in hitting and RBI...co-captain of high school team as a junior and senior...only sophomore to make 2002 All-Mecklenburg team...earned all-conference sophomore and senior years...helped lead South Mecklenburg to 61-16 overall record during his career......lettered in football as a sophomore.
