Jonathan Pickett is in his second season with the UNC Asheville men's basketball program in 2025-26. He comes to Asheville following several stops within Division I basketball. Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Pickett spent three seasons with the Siena men’s basketball program. He served his first two seasons at Siena as the program’s special assistant to the head coach before being promoted to director of basketball operations in June 2023.
Pickett joined the Saints after the 2020-21 season, which he spent as the director of analytics for the University at Albany men’s basketball team. In that role, he created analytic-driven reports to support scouting and internal player development, developed a shot-tracking system, assisted in player development, and supervised and evaluated student managers.
The Mechanicville, N.Y. native received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration – Financial Management and served as a student manager for the UAlbany men's basketball team for two seasons before graduating in 2020.
