Overview: One of five seniors on this year’s club…twin sister Bridget is also a senior for the Bulldogs…younger sister Breanna will be a sophomore on the High Point volleyball team this year…older sister Brittany played at Brevard College and finished up in 2007…one of three players on team from West Henderson HS…good defensive player and has been a fixture on the back row the past three seasons.
2008: Played in 91 games and recorded 166 digs (1.82) for fifth best on the team…season-high of 15 digs came against Maine (8-30)…had 14 digs in Big South Tournament win over Winthrop (11-21)…posted 13 kills in two different matches…had double-figures in kills eight times in 2008…had two services aces against Coastal Carolina (10-18).
2007: Played in 106 games in 33 of 34 matches recording 13 double figure dig matches...averaged 13.5 digs per matches in the Big South Tournament...career-high 18 digs at Radford on Oct. 12...had 15 digs three different times, at Chattanooga on Sept.8 , vs. North Carolina Central on Sept. 11, and vs. High Point on Nov. 15...six kills all from the back row including a career-high two kills at Florida State on Aug. 25...also had kills against USC Upstate, Mississippi Valley State, at Coastal Carolina, and at Winthrop...tied career best with three services aces against Southern on Sept. 15.
2006: Recorded a season-high 17 digs at High Point, Oct. 3, and against Radford in the first round of the Big South Conference Tournament, Nov. 14...had 11 double-figure dig matches including four of the last five matches...recorded 13 aces on the season including three in one match at High Point...her three kills all came from the back row.
Before UNC Asheville: Member of the West Henderson team that had a 110-2 record during her four years winning two state 2-A titles and finishing runner-up a third year...All-Conference selection and Honorable Mention All-Western team in 2005...North Carolina Scholar...also swam and played soccer in high school.
