Overview: Sophomore who enjoyed an oustanding freshman year for the Bulldogs and will be counted in several event this year...excellent student who earned a spot on Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association's All-Academic Team last year.
2012-13: Put herself in the Bulldog record book by becoming the first Asheville swimmer to reach the podium at the CCSA Championships...finished second in the mile with a time of 17:06.68...picked up a 12th-place finish in the indivdual medley by posting a time of 4:29.86...helped 200 medley team finish in 8th place at CCSA.
Before UNC Asheville: Swam for Green Mountain Aquatics as her high school did not have swim team...club coach was Laura Matuszak...qualified for the New England Senior Championships in 2011 and 2012...also qualfied for New England Long Course Open Championships last spring...was team captain in 2011 and 2012...as a junior, competed in the Florida Sectionals and New England Age Group Championships...named most improved in 2010 and 2011...earned coaches award in 2012.
