Overview: Talented sophomore who enjoyed an excellent freshman campaign and is well on her way to a great Bulldog career...should compete in breaststroke, freestyle and relay events...earned a spot on Coastal Collegiate Swimming Association's All-Academic Team last year.
2012-13: Finished in fifth place in the 100 breaststroke with a lifetime best and team record of 1:02.84 at the CCSA championships...swam the second fastest time in the breaststroke during the 400 medley as only two-time Olympian Dani Beaubrun of Florida Gulf Coast had a faster time than Troncoso...seventh-place in the 200 breaststroke as she posted a time of 2:22.78...holds school record in the following events: 100 breaststroke, 200 breastroke (2:18.36), 100 butterfly (1:00.93) and 200 individual medley (2:09.61)...set meet record at the Highlander Invitational in 2012 for the 100 breast with a time of 1:05.08...qualified for US Open Nationals at the CCSA Championships for the 100 breaststroke.
Before UNC Asheville: Enjoyed a great prep career at Lake Braddock HS in Burke,Va....earned coaches award for diving...picked up a scholastic athlete award three times...competed in the NCSA Junior Nationals in 2009, 2011, 2012...qualified for the Arena Grand Prix Series in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012; competed in 2008 (Missouri), 2009 & 2010 (Southern California)...also received High Point and "IM Ready" awards...played soccer at named MVP senior year.
