Overview: Excellent defender and outstanding student who should be a leader for the Bulldogs on the field her senior year...missed most of sophomore season (2007) with an injury but was close to 100 percent in 2008...will compete for all-conference honors this year as she is one of the top defenders in the Big South.
2008: Started in 18 of 19 matches in the back and enjoyed a solid year...earned an assist against Presbyterian (9-17).
2007: Played in eight matches and started six times before going down with an injury midway through the year...took one shot during the season.
2006: Fixture in the back who started in 18 matches and helped UNC Asheville defense post eight shutouts on the year...was part of a backline that allowed just 17 goals in 19 matches, prior to NCAA Tournament match against UNC Chapel Hill...had two shots on the season...earned a spot on Big South All-Rookie team.
Before UNC Asheville: Enjoyed a sensational prep and club career...played her prep soccer at Millbrook HS where she was a four-year starter in the back...selected to all-conference team as a freshman, junior and senior...Honorable Mention all-region...co-captain of Millbrook as a sophomore and senior...earned Coaches Award and Co-MVP following her senior year...extensive club career that has seen her played for the Greensboro Twisters and Carolina Dynamo...made the 2005 South Atlantic Division team that toured in Portugal that summer...member of ODP state team in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and made regional squad in 2005...played for Triangle Futbol team that was a state cup finalist in 2002.
