2017 Men’s Indoor Track and Field Scholar Athlete of the Year
2016-17: Continued to make his way into the indoor Asheville record book as he moved into second in the 200m, third in the 60m and fifth in the 60mH … Posted the quickest time in UNC Asheville history in the 100m, second fastest in the 200m, third fastest in the 400mH while also being a member of the fastest time in school history in the 4 x 100m relay and second quickest 4 x 400m relay … Competed in three indoor and six outdoor meets during his sophomore season … Placed in the top-10 in three Big South Track & Field Championship events, including runner-up status in the 4 x 400m (3:18.26), which was the second fastest time in school history.
2015-16: Cracked his name into the Asheville all-time list in three events: the 400 meter dash, long jump and the heptathlon … First in program history in the heptathlon (4481pts) and third all-time in the long jump (6.66m) … Competed in the 2015-16 Big South Conference Indoor Championships where he led in the heptathlon through four events.
Before UNC Asheville: Joined the Bulldogs after attending Allen Community College … Placed fifth at the 2015 Outdoor Junior College National Championships in the Decathlon and 11th at the Indoor Junior College National Championships in the Heptathlon … Finished fourth in the state of Florida in the 300m hurdles and was recognized as St. John's Conference Athlete of the Year.
