Overview: Exciting player who has scored some key goals for the Bulldogs during her career...should be one of the top forwards in the Big South this season...knows how to score in a lot of different ways...excellent athlete...five of her 11 career goals have been game-winners...scored four goals in Big South Conference Tournament play.
2006: Tied for second on team in goals scored with four and third on team in points with nine...scored the biggest goal of the year against Winthrop in semifinals of Big South Tournament with five minutes left to break a 1-1 tie...tallied goal and assist in win over Campbell (10/30)...scored goal in 2-0 win over ASU (9/14)...also scored against VMI (10/15)...second on club in shots taken with 41.
2005:Third on the team in goals scored with four and fourth on club in points with nine...gave the Bulldogs a real lift off the bench during the season...top game was two goals against Charleston Southern in semifinals of Big South Conference Tournament...tallied goal in 4-0 win over Coastal Carolina...also scored in victory over South Carolina State...picked up lone assist of the year in 3-2 overtime win at VMI...had 19 shots on the year.
2004: Played in 18 matches as a freshman with 13 starts...scored goals against Birmingham Southern, High Point and Winthrop on the year and all were game winning goals...tallied assists in wins against Appalachian State and Charleston Southern as well as in a 2-2 tie against Radford...took 29 shots on the year...earned a total of nine points during her freshman campaign.
Before UNC Asheville: A local product from state power Asheville HS...four-year varsity starter... named 2004 MAC Conference Player of the Year...recorded 71 career goals and 51 assists...set school record for career starts with 100 across four years...also set record with 100 games played...named to 2003 All-WNC team, All-MAC team and All-Region...also played basketball on Asheville HS squad that won the 3-A state title in 2003 and 2004.
