2024 Season (Junior) - Hamuka competed in three races in her third year as a Bulldog...Her best finish was at the Brevard XC Classic where she finished in 25th with a time of 21:34.4 in the 5K (PR)...She also competed in her first collegiate 6K and finished in 27:02.2.
2023 Season (Sophomore) - In her second year as a Bulldog, Hamuka competed in four races...She started the season with a 60th place finish in the 4k at the Young Harris XC Opener...Her personal best 5k came in the Big South Cross Country Championships where she earned a 67th place finish.
2022 Season (Freshman) - Hamuka appeared in five races for Asheville during her first season with the program in 2022...She made her collegiate cross country debut on September 2 at the Covered Bridge Open...Her top finish as a freshman came at the Winthrop Invitational where she finished 32nd with a time of 22:36.5...Hamuka's top 5K time as a freshman came on October 1 in Louisville as she clocked in at 22:05.7...Hamuka also competed for Asheville at the Big South Cross Country Championships where she placed 73rd with a time of 23:40.0.
Prior to UNC Asheville - Was named her cross country team's MVP in 2019 before taking home the same honor for her track & field team in 2022...Earned the Cross Country Coaches Award in 2021...All-Conference Cross Country runner in 2019, 2020, 2021 and qualified for regionals in each of those years...Qualified for regionals in track & field in 2018, 2021, 2022...Served multiple seasons as a team captain both in cross country and track & field.
