Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA Southeast Regional Championships

EARLYSVILLE, Va. - The UNC Asheville cross country program concluded its 2025 season at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships on Friday (Nov. 14), with the men's team finishing in 20th with 643 points and the women's team placing 21st with 636 points.
The men's 20th place finish marks the fourth consecutive year the Bulldogs have secured a top-20 finish and the women's 21st place finish is the best team finish since 2003.
For the fifth time this season, Jan Málek led the Bulldogs on the men's side, finishing in 32:13 to place 112th. Málek was followed by Quinn Jacquez who finished 121st (32:25), Jonas Roach in 128th (32:30), Tadiyos Sloan-Westmoreland (139th, 32:48), Yates Hockaday (156th, 33:10), Felix Bett (164th, 33:17), and Asher Roach (218th, 34:57).
Asheville placed third amongst Big South competition, behind Charleston Southern and High Point.
On the women's side, Aneta Kucerová led Asheville from the gun, finishing in 21:37.4 to take 103rd place. Alison Graf worked her way up the field to finish just off Kucerová's shoulder in 21:37.7 (104th). Next to finish was Isabel Richardson in 123rd (21:53), followed by Marika Dickel (150th, 22:20), Addi Corl (168th, 22:35), Ella Moore (206th, 23:16), and Sophie Lundin (224th, 23:41).
Asheville placed second amongst Big South competition, behind High Point.
The NCAA Southeast Regional Championships concludes the 2025 season for the UNC Asheville Cross Country team.
