2025 Season (Junior) - Ran in six meets and recorded two PRs, first in the 4m (20:07.9), and in the 10k at the NCAA Regional Championships (32:30.3)...His best place finish of the year was in the season opening race in the 6k where he finished fourth in 19:12.0...Ran the 8k three times with his best finish being at the Big South Championships where he ran it in 25:47.6 and placed 20th.
2024 Season (Sophomore) - In five meets, Roach improved his time in every race he competed in each respective distance...In the 6k, Roach ran a 20:15.2 at the season opening meet at App State, before dropping his time by nearly 30 seconds at the Furman Invitational two weeks later...In the 8k, Roach ran a 25:53.2 in his first race returning from Helene, before finishing the 8k at the Big South Conference Championships in 25:42.9...Ran his first collegiate 10k at the Southeast Region Championships.
2023 Season (Freshman) - In his first season as a Bulldog, Jonas started the season on a high note with back-to-back PRs and Big South Conference Weekly Honors...Roach made his collegiate debut at the Young Harris XC Opener, where he ran a 19:06.3 in the 6K and earned a 16th-place finish...At the Covered Bridge Open, Roach finished 44th with a PR of 26:00.5...In the Big South Championships, he finished 62nd with a time of 28:54.9.
Prior to UNC Asheville - A two-time All-State runner and a seven-time All-Region honoree...His mother competed in cross country & track & field at Virginia Tech.
