Roach Named Big South Men’s XC Freshman of the Week

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – UNC Asheville freshman Jonas Roach earned Big South Conference Cross Country Men's Freshman of the Week honors, the league office announced on Wednesday (Sept. 6).
The Blacksburg, Va., native opened his collegiate cross country career with a 16th-place finish at the Young Harris Invitational. Roach posted a time of 19:06.03 to help the Bulldogs win the team title.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on September 15 when they compete in the Covered Bridge Open hosted by Appalachian State.
