2023 Season (Junior) - As a junior, Honeycutt went 4-2 with a 4.67 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched...Working mainly as a reliever, Honeycutt did make six starts at the beginning of the season...Picked up wins over Sacred Heart, Iona, UMass, and Presbyterian...Pitched a season-high 5.2 innings vs. Eastern Kentucky in late February...Struck out a season-high six batters in that outing as well...Finished out his season with 5.1 shutout innings at High Point.
2022 Season (Sophomore) - Honeycutt took another step forward in becoming one of the top pitcher in the Big South in 2022...Honeycutt finished his sophomore season with a 4-2 record and a 1.73 ERA in 52 innings pitched...Honeycutt also picked up a pair of saves, struck out 36 batters, and held opposing hitters to a .214 batting average...All four of his wins came against Big South foes in Charleston Southern, Longwood, Radford, and USC Upstate...Was named the Big South's Relief Pitcher of the Week on March 21...For his work all season long working mainly out of the Bulldog bullpen, Honeycutt was named to the All-Big South First Team as a relief pitcher...His 1.73 ERA finished as the sixth-lowest in NCAA Division I Baseball in 2022.Â
2021 Season (Freshman) - As a freshman, Honeycutt appeared in 16 games for Asheville...Playing mainly as a pitcher, Honeycutt posted a 3-2 record with a 6.23 ERA in 43.1 innings pitched...He held opposing hitters to a .264 batting average, which was the lowest among Asheville pitchers that threw more than 20 innings in 2021...Honeycutt also had 14 at-bats as a hitter hitting .214 with two RBI...Notched his first collegiate hit on March 13 at Charleston Southern...Went 2-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored vs. Presbyterian on April 3...Pitched more than one inning in all but two of his outings in 2021...Pitched a season-high 5.2 innings vs. Campbell on March 20...In that contest, he struck out a season-high 10 batters...Following that outing, Honeycutt was named the Big South Relief Pitcher of the Week...Was the winning pitcher at Charleston Southern on March 12, vs. Campbell on March 20, and at Winthrop on April 9...Struck out multiple hitters in seven outings.
