Overview: One of five seniors on this year’s club…twin sister Brooke is also a senior for the Bulldogs…younger sister Breanna will be a sophomore on the High Point volleyball team this year…older sister Brittany played at Brevard College and finished up in 2007…one of three players on team from West Henderson HS…should get her 1000th career dig this season…excellent defensive player.
2008: Played in 130 games for the Bulldogs in the back row…recorded a season-high of 16 digs in two different matches, both against High Point…had 15 digs in home win over Gardner-Webb (11-4)…posted 10 digs and career-best four service aces in road win at Gardner-Webb (10-14)…contributed 11 digs in upset home win over Liberty (11-7)…had 12 digs and three service aces in early-season triumph over Florida Gulf Coast (8-29)...fourth on the team in digs with 257 (1.98 per game)…served three service aces in win over Norfolk State (9-12).
2007: Played in 115 games over 33 matches...had seven double figure dig matches including a career-high 20 digs in four games against Presbyterian on Nov. 10...had 16 digs in three games at Gardner-Webb on Oct. 23, and four matches where she recorded 11 digs...notched kills against USC Upstate and Alabama A&M from the back row...had season-high three aces at Alabama State on Sept. 14, and the next day had a kill and two aces for three points against Alabama A&M...her 18 aces were tied for the fourth most on the team and 239 digs were also fourth on the squad.
2006: Played in 77 games posting three double-figure dig matches...had a season-high 14 digs at Radford, Oct. 28, and had 12 digs in both regular season matches against Coastal Carolina...recorded a season-high three service aces against Montreat on Oct. 24...both kills came from the back row against Charlotte, Sept. 16, and at Birmingham-Southern on Nov. 11.
Before UNC Asheville: Member of the West Henderson team that had a 110-2 record during her four years winning two state 2-A titles and finishing runner up a third year...North Carolina Scholar...Asheville Citizen Times All Area team in 2005 and Biltmore Juniors Best Defense award in 2003.
