2024 Season (Senior) - Played and started all 50 games at third base as a senior wearing the coveted No. 6...Finished fourth on the team with a .298 batting average with 57 hits including 10 doubles, two triples and seven home runs...Drove in 38 runs and scored 37 times...Slugged .482 and posted an on-base percentage of .396...Season-high three hits on May 11 against Gardner-Webb...Season-high five RBI against Niagara on Mar. 9...Season-high five assists at Georgia on Feb. 16.
2023 Season (Junior) - Johnson played in and started all 52 games for Asheville in 2023...Serving as Asheville's third baseman for the entire season, Johnson hit .240 with eight home runs and 47 RBI...He totaled 49 hits, scored 39 runs, and stole eight bases...Had a pair of four-hit games vs. UMass & Charleston Southern...Had a 12-game on-base streak during the season...Finished second on the team with 47 runs driven in...Also was second on the Bulldogs with 14 doubles and eight stolen bases...Hit the eventual game-winning home run at Appalachian State on April 18.Â
2022 Season (Sophomore) - As a sophomore, Johnson developed into Asheville's primary third baseman...Was one of three Bulldog to appear in all 51 of the team's games in 2022...He hit .249 with three home runs and 27 RBI...He scored 31 runs, drew 30 walks, and tallied nine doubles...Finished his sophomore season with an on-base percentage of .387...Posted nine multi-hit games on the season...Had a breakthrough four-hit game at Elon on April 16 going 4-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs...All three of his home runs came against Big South foes (Presbyterian, Radford, Winthrop)...Another stellar game by Johnson came at Radford on April 24 where he went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored.
2021 Season (Freshman) - Johnson played in 33 games and started 17 of those during his freshman season with the Bulldogs in 2021...Johnson hit .200 with one home run and seven RBI, while playing mainly at first base...He also notched 13 hits, scored nine runs, and drew eight walks...Appeared in his first collegiate game on March 2 vs. Wofford...Picked up his first career hit and RBI at High Point on March 7...Blasted his first collegiate home run on March 27 vs. Radford...Notched a trio of multi-hit games as a freshman with two of those coming on the road at Charleston Southern in mid-March. Â
Prior to UNC Asheville - As a high school player at Fuquay Varina High School, Johnson hit .331 with 53 hits and 32 runs scored...Posted a perfect 4.0 grade-point average...Landed an All-Conference spot as a junior.
