Prior to UNC Asheville -  As a four-year varsity starter, Johnson set Winter Spring High School program records for career digs with 1,574, digs in a season with 519, and digs in a match with 47 … Her 519 digs as a senior led 6A District 9 and were ninth-most in the state of Florida … Earned second-team all-conference honors as a sophomore and senior, and was named to the conference all-freshman team … Named her varsity team's Defensive Player of the Year all four seasons … Helped lead Winter Springs to a district championship and 6A Region 3 championship during her senior season.
