Volleyball Releases 2026 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The UNC Asheville volleyball program has unveiled its 2026 schedule, and regular-season action will begin with the Bulldog Invitational in the Justice Center.
The Bulldogs will host Montreat College, Boise State and Middle Tennessee State for a two-day tournament Aug. 28-29 to open the 2026 slate. Asheville's first four matches will be at home, as the Bulldogs host Elon for a midweek contest on Sept. 1.
After the season-opening homestand, the Bulldogs will go downtown to Harrah's Cherokee Center – Asheville for the Blue Ridge Volleyball Classic Sept. 4-6. Asheville will face Seton Hall, Jacksonville State and Bellarmine.
The Bulldogs then travel to NC Central on Sept. 8 before competing against Harvard, UNC Wilmington and Norfolk State at UNCW's tournament Sept. 11-12.
Asheville returns to the Justice Center on Sept. 15 to host Western Carolina before traveling to Ohio for Ohio University's tournament Sept. 18-20. The Bulldogs will face Mercyhurst, Ohio and Morgan State.
The Bulldogs conclude their nonconference schedule by hosting Queens on Sept. 22.
Big South Conference play begins Sept. 25 with Asheville traveling to USC Upstate. The Bulldogs then return home for the next two weekends, hosting Radford (Oct. 2), High Point (Oct. 3), Presbyterian (Oct. 9) and Charleston Southern (Oct. 10).
Asheville hits the road for the following two weekends, facing Winthrop (Oct. 16), Gardner-Webb (Oct. 17), High Point (Oct. 23) and Radford (Oct. 24). The Bulldogs return home to host Gardner-Webb and Winthrop on Oct. 30-31 before traveling to Charleston Southern and Presbyterian on Nov. 6-7. The regular season concludes Nov. 13 with Asheville hosting USC Upstate.
The Big South Conference Tournament will be held Nov. 20-22 in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and hosted by Winthrop.
