2022-23 Season (Graduate Season) - Jones played in and started all 35 games for Asheville in 2022-23...He became Asheville’s all-time scoring leader (1,987 points) and 3-pointers made (99)...Also became the Big South’s all-time leader in games played (149) and minutes played (4,969)...Jones scored in double figures in 30 of the team’s 35 games...Recorded seven 20-plus point performances...Matched a career-high with 30 points on three different occasions...Matched the school record with eight 3-pointers made in a game twice in 2022-23...Became the first Big South player to ever score 1,800 points, grab 600 rebounds, and make over 300 3-pointers...For his work all season, Jones was named to the All-Big South First Team...Furthermore, he was named to the All-Big South Tournament team for his play in Asheville’s Big South Tournament run...He also landed a spot on the NABC All-District Second Team at season's end.
2021-22 Season (Redshirt Senior) - Began the season by being named to the Preseason All-Big South First Team...Jones was the only Bulldog to start all 32 games for the team in 2021-22...He played a team-high 1,057 minutes and averaged 33 minutes per contest...He shot 42.6 percent from the field and a 39.3 clip from 3-point range...Jones knocked down 83 shots from beyond the arc...His 83 3-pointers made and his shooting percentage from 3-point range both ranked second in the Big South...Overall, he averaged 12.8 points per game to go with 5.6 rebounds per game...Eclipsed the 20-point mark on three occasions, including a season-high 23-point effort in a win over North Carolina Central in early December...Jones also had 10 rebounds in that game...Jones knocked down at least one 3-pointer in 28 of his 32 games in 2021-22...Drained a season-high six 3-pointers vs. Chattanooga on December 8.
2020-21 Season (Redshirt Junior) - Led Bulldogs in points (15.9), 3-pointers (68), 3-point field goal percentage (42.5) and minutes (33.5)...Average of 3.40 threes per game set new program record, ranked sixth in Division I...Field goal percentage of 47.5 ranked third in Big South, second in 3-point field goal percentage (42.9)...Led the Bulldogs in scoring 11 times, totaling double figures in 17 games...Connected on five or more 3-pointers six times...Scored 20 or more points six times.
2019-20 (Redshirt Sophomore) - Started all 31 games and led the team and ranked fifth in the Big South, averaging 33.4 minutes per game … Finished third on the team and 12th in the Big South in scoring (13.7 points per game) and second on the Bulldogs in rebounding (4.3 rebounds per game) … Led the team with a 41.9 shooting percentage from beyond the 3-point arc and ranked sixth in the Big South, hitting 2.1 threes per game … Ranked third in the conference and led non-post players with a .518 field goal percentage, which ranked 79th nationally … Had 22 double-figure scoring efforts, and led the team with nine 20-point games … Scored in double-figures in 15 consecutive games from November 9 through January 18, including seven 20-point outbursts … Scored a season-high 29 points in a victory against Radford (1/30), sinking a career-best 7-of-11 3-pointers … Pulled-down a career-best nine rebounds against UT Martin (12/14) … Secured multiple rebounds in 29 games during the season, including 14 games with five or more rebounds.

Prior to UNC Asheville - Jones put together a prolific career at Oak Ridge High School where he was a finalist this past season for Mr. Basketball at the 3A level in the state of Tennessee ... He finished his prep career with 1,246 points, 148 steals and 136 assists ... Jones knocked down 199 three-pointers during his time playing with Oak Ridge High School ... He connected on 43.2 percent of his shots from beyond the arc ... During his senior year at Oak Ridge, Jones averaged 18.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.1 steals per game ... For his efforts in addition to being a finalist for Mr. Basketball in Tennessee, Jones was chosen as All-District, All-Region and All-State ... He was also selected as the Most Valuable Player for his district.
