CHARLESTON, S.C. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis was able to down Stonehill 5-2 to start their Spring Break trip on Saturday (Mar. 7).

The Bulldogs swept doubles play for a 1-0 lead in the match before winning four out of six singles matches to secure the win.

Griffin Lovern and Harrison Cooper started doubles play with a 6-3 win over Jacob Borch-Nielsen and Hector Cebrian at No. 1, before Cian Ingles and Jip Mens teamed up for a 6-0 win at No. 2 over Nicolas Arrendondo and Benjamin Beaudry. Daniel Franco-Key and Leo Kolbe teamed up for a 6-4 win at No. 3 over Guillermo Bennato and Javier Gutierrez.

Mens would beat Bennaton 6-3, 6-3 at No. 1, before Ingles would beat Cebrian 7-6, 6-3 at No. 2. Franco Key would beat Beaudry 7-6, 6-1 at No. 3, before Martin Fuks would beat Borch-Nielsen 6-2, 6-0 at No. 4. Stonehill would bring the match to its final score with wins at No. 5 and No. 6.
