CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville redshirt freshman Drew Turner has been named the Big South Conference Starting Pitcher of the Week, announced by the league today (Monday, Mar. 2).

Asheville went 3-1 over the weekend in Jackson State's round robin event, including Turner's start which was a 7-1 win over host Jackson State.
