Women's Tennis Releases 2026 Spring Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis has released its 2026 Spring schedule today (Tuesday, Jan. 6), for the program's first season under head coach Jeff Maren.
The season begins with six straight matches on the road in late January into February. The season begins on Jan. 25 at UNC Greensboro, before a stop in Boone to face Appalachian State (Jan. 30) and Davidson (Jan. 31). The Bulldogs then travel to South Carolina State on Feb. 7, before facing Eastern Kentucky (Feb. 13) and Western Kentucky (Feb. 14) in Richmond, Ky. After facing UNC Wilmington at home on Feb. 22, the Bulldogs hit the road for four straight matches on the road from late February into early March. The Bulldogs travel to North Carolina Central on Feb. 27, before going to North Greenville on Mar. 2. Big South Conference play opens on Mar. 4 at Gardner-Webb, before traveling to Western Carolina on Mar. 6. The Bulldogs then head to Orlando for Spring Break to play University of St. Thomas (Mar. 9), Navy (Mar. 10) and Howard (Mar. 12). After a stop at Wofford on Mar. 18, the Bulldogs return home for a five-match homestand. Asheville hosts Longwood in Big South Conference play on Mar. 21, Campbell on Mar. 28, Queens (N.C.) on Apr. 1, Jacksonville State on Apr. 4 and Presbyterian on Apr. 8. The regular season ends at Charleston Southern on Apr. 11.
The Big South Conference Championships take place Apr. 16-18 in Lexington, S.C.
"We are excited to have a challenging schedule for this Spring!" said Maren. "We will have non-conference opponents that will push us to our limits and a tough conference schedule as well! Our entire schedule is designed to prepare us for the conference tournament am so we feel that we will be as ready as we can be to contend for the title! Go Dogs!"
Home matches for the Bulldogs will be played at Asheville School this season.
