ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving has earned Fall Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America, recently announced by the organization.

To earn the honor, a team must achieve a grade point average of at least 3.0 for the semester. UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving has earned the honor 27 consecutive semesters, every semester since the program's inception in 2012. Asheville posted a 3.70 grade point average for the Fall 2025 semester.

"It's a pleasure to coach a team of women who recognize the importance of their studies," said head coach Elizabeth Lykins. "These ladies work very hard in the classroom and they deserve this honor as a Scholar All-America team! Our staff greatly appreciates the assistance of our Faculty Athletic Representative Jeff Wilcox, Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Success Rebecca Nelms and our SWA/Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance Erin Punter Spence. These three administrators support our student-athletes in the classroom and the water and are an integral component of our team's success."

The Bulldogs (4-2, 2-0 ASUN) return to action Feb. 18-21 at the Atlantic Sun Conference Championships in Orlando, Fla.
