Jeff Wilcox serves as the UNC Asheville athletic department's Faculty Athletic Representative, linking the University to Bulldog athletics. 

In addition to his work with the athletic department, Wilcox is an Associate Professor in UNC Asheville's Department of Environmental Studies. He teaches courses in groundwater and surface water hydrology, water chemistry, physical geology, and introduction to environmental science.

Wilcox earned a bachelors of science degree from Hope College and holds a masters of science and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
