BULLDOGS VS MOUNTAINEERS
Asheville and App State will tip off at 1:30 p.m. with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 30. The Sunday matinee inside the HCCA is presented by Ingles.
The matchup was rescheduled from last season due to ongoing recovery efforts following Helene at the time. If you purchased a ticket to last year's contest, please contact UNC Asheville Box Office Manager Harmon Turner at 828-251-6904 to discuss ticketing options. The game also marks the conclusion of the two-game series Asheville and App State agreed to in 2023.
The 2023 game was held in Hickory, N.C., in the Tarlton Complex, with the Bulldogs stunning the Mountaineers 76-63. App State entered that game on an eight-game win streak, including an upset over Auburn. In Hickory, Josh Banks broke the program record for most 3-pointers in a single game, and Drew Pember recorded the third-ever triple-double in program history.
This contest will mark Asheville's first game in the downtown Asheville venue since 2017.
App State went 17-14 and 10-8 in Sun Belt play last season.
ASHEVILLE VS UNCG
The Bulldogs will face UNC Greensboro on Tuesday, December 2, at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. The neutral site contest in the HCCA is also presented by Ingles.
This season marks the first contest between Asheville and Greensboro since December 19, 2017. The Bulldogs are 4-9 against the Spartans, dating back to 1993, but are 4-3 in their last seven contests.
Last year, UNCG went 20-12 and 13-5 in SoCon action.
