Women's Swimming and Diving Releases 2025-26 Schedule

ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Swimming and Diving has released its 2025-26 schedule today (Thursday, Sept. 11), for the program's 14th season under Elizabeth Lykins.

The season begins Sept. 19-20 with the team's annual intrasquad, while the divers head to Davidson on Sept. 27 before the Bulldogs travel to Buies Creek, N.C. to face Campbell and East Carolina on Oct. 18. The divers will travel to East Carolina on Nov. 1, before the team returns to friendly water on Nov. 8 to host Davidson. The annual Fall Frenzy Invitational at Queens (N.C.) will take place Nov. 20-23, while the divers will head to Liberty's TYR Invite Nov. 21-23. The Bulldogs return home Dec. 12-13 to host Georgia Southern in Atlantic Sun Conference action, before traveling to Gardner-Webb to wrap up the ASUN schedule on Jan. 9 while the divers head to Georgia Southern on Jan. 10. Asheville welcomes Liberty Jan. 16-17 for Senior Day, before the ASUN Championships take place in Orlando, Fla. Feb. 18-21. The NCAA Zone B Diving Championships take place Mar. 9-11, while the NCAA Swimming Championships will take place Mar. 18-21.

"The team and staff are looking forward to some tough opponents this season," said Lykins. "While we don't face as many conference foes this year, the strong competitors on our schedule are sure to help us aptly prepare for late February."

The diving portion of the intrasquad is set for Friday, Sept. 19 at the Asheville Jewish Community Center. The action begins at 3:00 p.m. The swimming portion will be Saturday, Sept. 20 at the Justice Center Pool at 11:00 a.m.
