Asheville in Fourth After Second Day of Big South Championship

Fripp Island, S.C. - The UNC Asheville women's golf team completed the second round of the 2025 Big South Conference Women's Golf Championship on Monday (April 14), and after a highly competitive second round, the Bulldogs now sit in fourth place.
SECOND ROUND RECAP
The Bulldogs shot a 308 (+20) in the second round and are not four strokes behind High Point and Radford, who are tied in first. High Point shot a 303, and Radford led the field with a 297, after sitting in fourth following Sunday's first round of play. Charleston Southern remains in third after shooting a 301.

PLAYER SUMMARY
Ally Kerr shot Asheville's lowest second round score, as she carded a 74 (+2) and is now tied for 10th. Beryl Giletti shot a 77 (+5) and is in 10th as well.
Caroline Patterson followed with a 78 (+6) and leads the team tied for 7th.
Claudia Salvador shot a 79 (+7), putting her tied for 25th, and Morgan Guepet shot an 80 (+8) and is tied for 22nd.

A LOOK AT TOMORROW
The Bulldogs return for day three of the Big South Conference Championship tomorrow (April 15), with Salvador leading the Bulldogs off at 8:54 a.m. and Patterson finishing the team off at 9:30 a.m. The Bulldogs will play with Presbyterian and Gardner-Webb.
