Bulldogs Cap Off Regular Season with 5-2 Victory at Longwood

FARMVILLE, Va. - UNC Asheville Men's Tennis capped off the regular season with a 5-2 victory at Longwood on Sunday (Apr. 13).
Asheville captured the doubles point with two wins to start the day, before winning four of six singles matches on the day for the win.
Olle Sonesson Lidholt and Tarek Erlewein beat Petar Belosevic and Petter Lindquist 6-1 at No. 2, before Sai Gandepalli and Griffin Lovern secured the doubles point with a 6-4 win at No. 3 over Marko Mrdak and Alejandro Uribe.
Erlewein began singles play with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Belosevic at No. 2, before Gandepalli beat Uribe in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 to put Asheville ahead 3-0. Trevor Gray would clinch the match with a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Ian Perl at No. 6, before Cian Ingles would finish off the match with a 7-6 (9-7), 7-6 (7-1) win over Lindquist at No. 5.
