ASHEVILLE, N.C. - UNC Asheville Women's Tennis dropped its non-conference match against Furman on Saturday (Feb. 1) by a score of 5-2.

Furman took two out of three doubles matches for a 1-0 lead, before winning the match with four wins in singles play.

Asheville picked up two wins in singles play, with Angelina Joy Hug beating Jess Dawson 6-4, 6-3 at No. 2 and Elizabeth Tindera beating Marissa Pennings 6-0, 6-3 at No. 3.
