Caroline Patterson Named Big South Golfer of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - UNC Asheville women's golfer Caroline Patterson (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) has been named the Big South Women's Golfer of the Week following her performance at the Terrier Intercollegiate. The announcement was made on Thursday (Oct. 16).
Patterson finished fourth at the Terrier Intercollegiate (par 72, 6,037 yards) with a 6-over 222 (77-72-73) for her first Top 10 finish of the season. She was the top finisher among the 25 Big South golfers in the event, and she tied for second in the 74-player field in par-5 scoring (-4). Patterson made nine birdies in leading the Bulldogs to a tie for third in the team standings.
Patterson and the Bulldogs are back on the course at the UNCG Collegiate on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 20-21).
